CARDIOVASCULAR DRUGS - are the compounds used to treat heart disorder (such as congestive heart disease, angina or arrhythmia) or disease of the vascular system. These class of drug includes; Anticoagulants, Antiplatelet agents, Thrombolytic agents, ACE inhibitors, ARBs, Beta blockers, Calcium channel blocker, Diuretics, Vasodilators, Digoxin and Statins.


DIURETICS - Diuretics also called as water pills, are medications designed to increase the amount of water and salt expelled from the body as urine. There are three types of prescription diuretics. They’re often prescribed to help treat high blood pressure, but they’re used for other conditions as well. Types include: 1. Thiazide Diuretics 2. Loop Diuretics 3. Potassium Sparing Diuretics
