ENZYME - Enzyme that has been used for reducing inflammation, has antiedemic, analgesic, fibrinolytic and caesinolytic properties. Proteolytic enzymes break down proteins in the body or on the skin. This might help with digestion or with the breakdown of proteins involved in swelling and pain. Some proteolytic enzymes may be found in supplements.


ANTI- ULCER - Antiulcer drugs are useful in the specific management of gastrointestinal ulceration and reflux esophagitis. They are not usually needed for treatment of simple acute gastritis. Anti- Ulcer drugs include : Pantoprazole, Omeprazole, Sucralfate, Lansoprazole, Cimetidine, Nizatidine, Cisapride etc.


PROTON PUMP INHIBITORS - Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are a group of medicines that work on the cells that line the stomach, reducing the production of acid. They are commonly used to treat acid reflux and part of the gut called the duodenum. Most people who take a proton pump inhibitor do not develop any side-effects. Drug include esomeprazole, lansoprazole, omeprazole, pantoprazole and Rabeprazole etc.
